Why do I Exist?

I have been out of the blogging scene for quite a while now. Work has been keeping me busy. And I am enjoying every bit of it. There are so many random thoughts coming to my mind that I cannot think of any one particular thing. Ok, take for example, my work. I dunno that whether this is what I want to do the rest of my life. I dont know whether this is my calling... How do you know that? Is there a way? I took a couple of tests on the internet, you know the career choice inventory kinds. Now all these tests give you a list at the end which is of no help at all because the list says you can be an administrator, a teacher, a this, a that. All right! I know I can be all of them but I want to know what am I supposed to be. What is the purpose of this life? Why am I here? There has to be a reason behind it. Right? What is the purpose fo my existence? Why am I here? What is my life's calling?

Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be.
Stop Looking for a purpose as to why you are here. CREATE IT. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

I hope this answers your question! :)

@rushabh: thanks for that perspective. Never actually looked at it from that point of view. I started something new today which is just one of the ways of seeking meaning in my life. I hope I find meaning soon. Thanks again. :)

@ankur: I am being myself but the question that is/was (m still not sure) bothering me z that how do i know why am i here. bas zindagi kaat dene ke liye? I am sure the answer is no. I, and in fact all of us have been created for a purpose and i am looking for that purpose. :)

I've read that book, and ended up not learning anything in the end as to why I exist. As far as my interpretation goes with it, that book only says that our purpose in life is to love God - on which, I think doesn't really give you a definite answer.

Well, I guess everyone goes through that question once in their life. And to be honest, I never found my answer. It's because I think, there's really no answer to it. Then I think, instead of asking for answers, why not make my own. And now, I'm stuck to what I would really want to do with my life.
